The Val Byrne Family Pedigree of Sleaty 1680-2012

Gen. No. 8.  Charles (1) Byrne of Sleaty, 1680-1768, originally from Ballinakill, nr. Clonmore, Co. Carlow.

Charles, son of Edmund of Ballinakill, Clonmore, was born abt.1680, married  Mrs Kitchen, a widow of Sleaty, in  1705 at the age of abt.25.   He died 21st July 1768, aged 88.
Had issue of one son  Gerald of Sleaty.

Gerald was born 1706 , he married Mary Kavanagh, daughter of Simon Kavanagh of Rocksavage, nr. Bagnalstown in 1771, aged 65, he died  in Nov. 1782 aged 76. He was buried in Sleaty graveyard.

Charles was  born  about 1772, he married Julia Kinsella of Rathrush, Co.Carlow in  1803, aged 31, he died 25th March 1812, aged 40.  He and his wife Julia are commemorated on the same Memorial stone as his father Gerald in Sleaty
graveyard.
Had issue Gerald of Arkansas, originally from Sleaty.

Gen. No. 5.  Gerald (2) Byrne of Arkansas, originally of Sleaty.

Gerald was born about 1804, he married Eliza Bolger of Enniscothy,Co. Wexford abt. 
1833, aged 29, he died 4th April 1858, aged 54. He was buried in the USA. 
Had issue Charles of Clonmel, originally  from Sleaty, and Alfred of  Alderny, originally from  Sleaty ( incl. in sources ).

Gen. No. 4.  Charles (3) Byrne of Clonmel, originally of Sleaty.

Charles was born 1837, he married Mary Carolle of  Clonmel,Co. Tipperary on 15 July 1869 , aged 32, he died 9thApril 1921, aged 78.  He was buried in Clonmel . 
Had issue Gerald of Clonmel.

Alfred, brother of Charles above was born 1846, he married Sarah of  Canada, aged 30, he died  1916, aged 70.  .  
Had issue.of 7 children 4 sons and 3 daughters.

Gerald was born in 1870, he married Delia Considine of Clogheen in 1900, aged 30, he died in 1948, aged 79. He was buried in Clonmel Cemetary, Co. Tipperary

James was born 1902, he married Catherine Rice of Ardfert, Co. Kerry in 1933 , aged 31, he died 1981, aged79.  He was buried in Kilmacanogue Cemetary,Co. Wicklow. Had issue Val of Glencormac, Co. Wicklow.
Had issue I sonand I daughter.
